Atlanta’s own K Camp will be returning to ‘the A’ this November to conduct his 3rd annual Campsgiving Weekend. This weekend features a celebrity basketball game, a private celebrity paintball tournament, participant appreciation day and a charity concert.
Performers will be: Lloyd, Jeezy, Ricco Barrino, Debra Antney, Kent Jones, Boosie, the cast of the “Bad Girls Club,” the cast of “Love & Basketball”, and host Kenny Burns, to name a few.
Campsgiving Foundation Inc. was founded in 2014 by K Camp, his mother Shauna Hervey and sister Destiny. Their mission: to build stronger communities by impacting lives on a daily basis. They strive to be motivators and supports to those who may have fallen, and need a boost to get back up, and to help individuals identify their strengths and understand their purpose.
At their events in 2014 and 2015 they donated 15,000+ pounds of food, clothes, toiletries, and toys from over 2,000 attendees at their annual November charity event. Every year they have a designated area for their local ATL homeless shelters, so those guests can come out and have a VIP experience. It is for people of all ages, from 5 years old to 65 years old the entire weekend is a moving and inspiring event for all.
