Atlanta’s new Prince, YFN Lucci dropped his mixtape “Wish Me Well 2,” enclosing 18 tracks with major features such as Plies, Johnny Cinco, and Marissa. His smash track Keys To The Streets features Migos and Trouble. Lucci has joined the T.I.G family alongside Rich Homie Quan and Trinidad James.
Dae Dae – Wat U Mean
Straight from Boulevard Avenue, Dae Dae has the streets on lock with his debut single “Wat U Mean,” produced by Nitti Beatz. Atlanta loves a good dance move and Dae Dae has coined the next wave with his personal rendition of the “Nae Nae.” This summer anthem will stamp his presence in the rap game.
MadeinTyo – Uber Everywhere
We can all thank MadeinTyo for his new ride-a-long anthem, Uber Everywhere and Uber should thank him with a lifetime supply of free rides. It ties in the fun city life of living on the northside of metro Atlanta and incorporating summer’s favorite things. It has now made its debut on the billboard Hot 100.
Kap G – Girlfriend
El Southside’s Kap G comes with his new mixtape and its leading single “Girlfriend.” Kap is always true to his southside, Atlanta roots. Girlfriend is a sample of what he will be offering off his new project. He has definitely solidified his dope presence in the industry, following his acting debut.
Migos – Say Sum
There is only one group that comes to mind when its summer time. Rap-trio Migos has consistently taken over Atlanta’s and other regions’ summers. With prior hits “Versace,” “Handsome & Wealthy” and “Pipe it up,” The Honorable C-Note came together with Migos to produce their new summer smash “Say Sum.” They debuted their video to this track last week.
Drake – Hype

The King of Atlanta is all about melodic productions that incorporate his live ad-libs and antics . Out My Face is a clear example of who T.I is as an artist and executive. T.I has formed a collective called Bankroll Mafia which includes Young Thug and his younger cousin, Shad Da God. After T.I’s smash If it aint about the Money, he rejoins Thugger on a full self-titled mixtape featuring Shad to deliver the same energy as they once had before. M-City J.R. – Addicted To My Ex
The newest rapper out of Detroit,Michigan is M-City J.R. He delivers his debut single and visual of “Addicted to My Ex,” as he takes you through Detroit’s top attractions while transforming his self from the past to his current status. The track details how to “flex” on your last relationship and the person who treated you unfairly. The track has picked up momentum as it has taken over the Midwest now moving to the South.

ASAP Ferg is no stranger to having a summer hit. New Level featuring Future stamped his presence in 2016. Thanks to hook-ologist Future soon as you hear it, it makes you want to stand on a couch. Debuting off his recent album Always Strive and Prosper, “New Level” sounds like a part 2 to his original “work” in 2013.

Philly’s newest addition, Lil Uzi Vert is taking over the new wave of young rappers with his single “Money Longer.” LUV has already performed at some of the hottest festivals since he debuted his first mixtape”Luv is Rage” last year. At 21 years old, Uzi takes an Atlanta home-base sound and adds northern flares to coin his sound that reminds you of some of his main influences Kanye West, Pharrel and Wiz Khalifa.
2 Chainz – 100 Joints

2 Chainz teamed up with legend Lil Wayne for his third studio album, Collegrove. Due to label concerns, 2 Chainz is the only artist listed as contributor but notes this album is a “tribute” to Wayne. This collaborative album encompassed Wayne’s Hot Boys roots with 2 Chainz “Atlanta” foundation. 100 Joints is one of a few songs without Wayne featured on it, but his visual plays on the presidential campaign and Donald Trump’s views on the Muslim community. It puts the spotlight on both neighborhood and national topics.
Desiigner – Panda
The numbers and Billboard charts do not lie. Desiigner has earned a number one spot on the billboards with his dab-attack single “Panda.” After taking over the charts, Kanye West signed him to Good Friday. West also was the creative brain behind his first video which has millions of views. Hailing from Brooklyn, Desiigner is now the rapper everyone whats to know. He will be performing this summer at Summer Jam in New York on the main stage, stamping his chart topping single as the best song in the country.
Bankroll Fresh – Take Over Your Trap
The world will never know how great, , late Bankroll Fresh was. We only have his music to live by. Under Street Exec’s roster, Bankroll was on the road to being one of Atlanta’s top rappers. His life was taken on March 4, 2016. The city of Atlanta and his camp Street Money Worldwide takes every opportunity to ensure his legacy is alive. One of his best songs was “Take Over Your Trap” featuring 2Chainz. This track will always be a summer smash that keeps his voice in the streets. R.I.P Bankroll Fresh “Streeeeeeet.”
