ATLANTA, GA — Southwest Airlines has launched a summer travel deal, where super-cheap flights — less than $100 for some of the airline’s shortest one-way routes — are available out of Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson Airport. The sale offers primarily nonstop, one-way flights for as low as $49, and the one-way prices increase to $79, $99 or $200 for longer flights.
There are some exclusions, of course. Fridays and Sundays, two of the biggest travel days of the week, are excluded, and certain dates around the Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s holidays are blocked out.
Domestic flights must be booked from Sept. 5-Dec. 14, 2017, and some blackout dates apply.
If you’re already thinking ahead toward spring break 2018, the sale also features low prices on flights to resort cities in Mexico, the Cayman Islands, Costa Rica, Cuba, Jamaica, Bahamas and elsewhere.
