Republic Social House

Republic, a place with deals and specials going on every day of the week. Monday night they offer 45 cent wings as well as poker starting at 8pm, Tuesday they have $1 Tacos, Wednesday is industry special night, these include phenomenal drink specials during happy hour. Thursday night is for “Dirty South Trivia” as someone who has experienced this night, before I will have to say it was by far one of the funniest nights of my life. The vulgar Q & A’s lightened the atmosphere and made the night one to remember. Friday/Saturday night they offer a fresh rotation of Dj’s playing all requests from the house and people. Their core offering comes on Saturdays and Sundays as they offer a brunch special which include, Bottomless Bloody Mary’s, Mimosas, and Screwdrivers. By far, though the coolest aspect of Republic Social House is their fully loaded rooftop bar. There are multiple TVs open as well and covered seating. The rooftop overlooks the Oakland Cemetery.
Makan

Makan, located in downtown Decatur, GA is a restaurant/bar, bringing you southern China and Korea. Its location in the lobby of the Courtyard Hotel attracts a diverse audience to partake in the fun and games the bar offers. The picnic style dining area is complimented by the game Cornhole. It’s very spacious for social gatherings and they do take reservations. Their dining prices compared to usual hotel venues was considerably way more affordable. If you decide to check it out make sure you try their pork belly bun and dim sum. With summer approaching, you should definitely take advantage of this huge patio space with some co-workers and friends.
Across the Street

Considered to have the best patio in Atlanta, Across the Street overlooks Freedom Parkway, to the right, you will see all the running and bike trails and to your backside you have a view of the Atlanta skyline. They offer a special on Tuesdays called “free beer glass Tuesday” when you purchase a pint of their featured brewski you get to keep the glass. Thirsty Thursdays are their other weekly special which includes an array of drink specials brought to you while you relax on the patio. You can also play Cornhole while enjoying live music on the weekends. An interesting fact about Across the Street is that the owners Ali & Lana built the brick patio themselves from bricks they collected from the community.

Like Republic Social House, Diesel offers a dirty south trivia night on Thursdays. If you love Braves baseball this is the place to watch it on a summer day, the big screen located in the middle of the patio is always playing braves games.
