Everyone knows the college struggle. Each week or so, Mom and Dad are putting in a little bit of money for you in your account. But face it, most of us either saved it to go shopping, partying or drinking, but others wanted to use it for food. You’re tired of cafeteria food and want to go get some food from fast food restaurants, but don’t have the money for it. Well, we combined a list of restaurants that college students can use to go eat with their budget.
1) Cookout
With several Ga locations already open, and even more scheduled to open in the next few months, North Carolina-based Cookout is becoming a staple among Georgians with meager means. Great prices for some of the best burgers and shakes anywhere, and convenient locations.

2) Sarpino’s
Although it may be a little pricier than some of the other options on the list, there are two words that separate this pizzeria from most others. Free. Delivery. That means that you and your roommates can have money for other college necessities.

3) Wok n Roll
This Chinese restaurant has a Student Special menu with nearly 30 meals for $5.55. There is a $10 delivery minimum, but it’s well worth it for these great deals.

4) Mamma Mia’s Pizzeria & Italian Grill
Great spot to get yourself a personal pizza, or calzon. They also have a great selection of pasta and other Italian dishes. Great for nights of heavy recreation.

5) Chico and Chang
This late night spot serves both Asian and Mexican food. Additionally, they serve wings and burgers. You’ll find something you like, and not have to crack the piggy bank in the process.

6) Zesto
This burger joint has been a staple in Atlanta since they opened their first Atlanta location in 1953. There isn’t delivery, and they close at 12, so this is a great spot for a great lunch without having to mortgage your assets.

7) Mad Italian
A lot of good restaurants in Chamblee will have you feeling like you landed on Boardwalk and Park Place when you leave. This is an exception, however. As the name suggests, this is a nice Italian spot. They close before midnight every day, so don’t count on this as a great late night option, however it’s a terrific place to grab lunch or dinner.

8) Waffle House
If this needs much explanation for you, we can safely assume that you aren’t originally from Atlanta, or Georgia, or any of the states that we border for that matter. Waffle House is almost always nearby, and always affordable. Most Waffle Houses have a 15 Meals for $5 menu that’s great for capping off expensive nights.
