Atlanta Falcons owner, Arthur Blank put tech talk aside for a few moments on Thursday while participating in a “fireside chat” at the Georgia Technology Summit, after undergoing treatment for prostate cancer. The annual Georgia Technology Summit was held at the Cobb Galleria Convention Center and was attended by about 1500 attendees.
Blank said he will go through regular check ups to make sure it does not reoccur while received the Captain of Industry award at the Summit.
He also gave an update and some details about construction on the new Mercedes-Benz Stadium in downtown Atlanta. The high tech stadium is slated to open in 2017.
The Georgia Technology Summit is put on by the Technology Association of Georgia and shows how technology impacts our community and the lives for those in the technology universe in the state of Georgia and beyond.
