ATLANTA (WSB)— Concourse D of Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport was evacuated after an explosion in a maintenance shed just before 9 a.m.
The concourse lost power due to the explosion, but Atlanta Fire Department spokeswoman Janet Ward said there is no smoke or fire. A WSB radio producer in Concourse D said power was restored to the area he is in around 10 a.m.
The airport tweeted at 10:14 a.m. that all evacuated passengers have returned to the concourse and no injuries were reported.
Channel 2’s Sophia Choi is at the airport. She said travelers were told not to enter security if they have a flight out of concourse D.
