Get a sales tax rebate on back-to-school shopping and more
Boo. Hiss.
Tax Free Weekend isn’t happening in Georgia this year. Many people are disappointed, but shoppers still have an opportunity to save this back-to-school season. In fact, they can rack up even more than last year. Because on July 28-30, The Outlet Shoppes at Atlanta is keeping the tradition going with a special savings event called More Than Tax Free. Since shoppers won’t save 6% on sales tax this year, The Outlet Shoppes will give shoppers an $8 gift card for every $100 spent, Friday through Sunday – giving back the cash they deserve to save.
Featuring extended hours on July 29 (9 a.m.–10 p.m.) and July 30 (10 a.m.–8 p.m.), More Than Tax Free promises unbeatable savings that go above and beyond what shoppers would have saved during Georgia’s annual Tax Free Weekend in Woodstock.
“Every year, not just our shoppers, but all of Atlanta’s shoppers have really depended on this tax-free savings – especially with back-to-school expenses hitting at the same time, “ stated Charlie Loughran, General Manager of The Outlet Shoppes at Atlanta. “I’m proud that we can help out our community this way.”
To take advantage of this exclusive offer during More Than Tax Free, customers should save all receipts from their day of shopping and visit Guest Services, located in the Food Court. There, shoppers can present their receipts from the day to receive individual $8 gift cards for every $100 spent that day. And while all receipts must be from the same shopping day, shoppers can combine multiple totals from different stores in order to qualify and save.
Don’t let the absence of Georgia’s Tax Free initiative get you down. Visit The Outlet Shoppes at Atlanta to save hundreds on all your back-to-school needs.
