Have you ever seen a tour go apeshit?
See Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s most recent tour for reference. The Carters recently ended their ‘On the Run II Tour’ earlier this month. As expected, it was a smashing success. Newly released numbers from Billboard reveal the couple grossed a whopping $253.M, in 48 shows, over 4 months.
The Carters released a new album, “Everything Is Love,” in June, shortly before starting their 30 show run in North America. The highlight of the North American leg of the tour was probably Atlanta for multiple reasons. The couple made a massive $14.1M in two nights at the Mercedes Benz Stadium. Yes, the Beyhive came out in full force. There was also as scare as a rouge concert goer rushed the stage during the first night in Atlanta.

All in all, the OTR sequel outgrossed the original by over $100M ($144M in 2014). Their reign is undeniable.
