Atlanta is universally known for its restaurants (and strip clubs but that’s neither here nor there). South Buckhead alone is full of what seems like hundreds of upscale eateries. I recently had the chance to eat lunch at the Bluefin restaurant in Atlanta. Nestled right on a corner of Peachtree St and Palisades Road, blink twice you could miss it.
Bluefin is a chic Japanese fusion restaurant & lounge that is both upscale & casual at the same time. As soon as you walk in the doors you will truly understand what I mean. The lunch menu was very affordable with portions that exceed your expectations. I’m a pretty big guy & I couldn’t finish my food (for the 1st time ever). I stayed safe with a teriyaki chicken and chicken fried rice plate, but the sushi menu was expansive and diverse.
The service was quick and friendly, the wine/sake/beer/liquor selection was exquisite, and the overall experience exceeded my expectations. If you’re looking for a new place to dine in Atlanta, with a 5 star presentation/experience at a 2 star price, Bluefin is a restaurant you should definitely try.
