This past week Forsyth County police officers caught what some might call graphic footage of a newborn wrapped in a plastic bag.
Forsyth County is looking for your help to see if her mother can be found.
Neighbors were the first to hear the baby crying in the woods close by on June 6th.
It wasn’t until this past Tuesday that Forsyth County shared the body camera footage in a desperate attempt to help locate the mother.
The video has been shared all over social media but any help sharing will hopefully help locate the mom who did this.
Forsyth County says,
“FCSO would also like to remind the public that the State of Georgia has a law called Safe Haven (HB 391). This law allows a child’s mother to leave her baby, up to 30 days old, with an employee of any medical facility including any hospital, institutional infirmary, health center or birthing center in Georgia without prosecution. This includes Hospitals, Fire Stations and Police Stations.
