The successor is slated to open in October.
Atlantic Station recently announced that Atlanta’s first Bowlero will be located in the mixed-use facility. Bowlero is the spiritual successor to Ten-Pins, which closed in 2011, and will take over the spaces formerly occupied by Fox Sports Grill, The Diner and Kinnucan’s.
The bowling concept will occupy nearly 36,000 square feet at the corner of 19th and Market Streets, it will have 30 lanes of bowling and a digital gaming area. The venue will be able to accommodate up to 277 people, as well as employ 74 people.
Bowlero will also feature a full gastro-pub menu, which includes shareable and signature “Big Swig” cocktails.
“As the evolution of Atlantic Station continues, Bowlero is the perfect complement to our retail, restaurant and entertainment offerings,” Nick Garzia, director of retail leasing for Hines, said in the release.
“Bowlero’s focus on immersive entertainment provides fun for all ages. Their appeal to residents, tourists and corporate outings will be unmatched, as there is not a state-of-the-art venue like this in Midtown. Their position in the center provides a critical hinge that unites the rapidly changing Market Street area to the core of the project.”
Bowlero currently has locations in Marietta, Norcross, Kennesaw, and Columbus.
