The Braves are set to move into their new home, SunTrust Park in 2017. The new stadium is located off of Cumberland Parkway in Cobb County and it’s expected to be the next state of the art ballpark in the MLB.
On Monday, Braves executive VP Derek Schiller confirmed the stadium will feature a zip-line to make the ballpark outing more family friendly.
Schiller also announced the stadium can be transformed into a concert venue for the summer time. The Braves already have it’s first non-game day concert, although Schiller hasn’t revealed the act.
According to Atlanta Business Chronicle, the zip line will behind the video board in center field and will take fans from one concourse to another.
The logistics haven’t been released yet, but hopefully they will ensure safety.
