Giving back, a Georgia homebuilder is supporting the effort to build a new shelter for local women and children experiencing homelessness.
Georgia homebuilder Brock Built Homes, working alongside the Atlanta Housing Authority are donating the land and a new home to the Atlanta Mission for the Building Hope and a Future Dream Home Sweepstakes. The sweepstakes ends January 3, 2020
See info at: https://www.brockbuilt.com/sweepstakes/. The sweepstakes will raise funds to help transform the landscape of homeless care for women and children in Atlanta. Brock Built Homes is donating an amazing, new West Highlands neighborhood home valued at $400,000 to the Atlanta Mission for the grand prize winner of the sweepstakes.
This all benefits Atlanta Mission’s Ethel Street shelter. Atlanta Mission has been serving the local community since 1938 and provides much needed care and services for women and children experiencing homelessness. Together with Brock Built Homes, Atlanta Mission is working to make a difference in the lives of the more than 4,000 women and children seeking shelter at Atlanta Mission every year. Donations received for the Building Hope and a Future Dream Home Sweepstakes fundraiser will go towards the creation of the new Ethel Street shelter, Atlanta’s first low barrier facility to expand Atlanta Mission’s day services by 20% and create 100 new shelter beds for those in need.
“Since 1984, Brock Built Homes has championed the investment into our local Atlanta communities,” explains Steve Brock, president and owner of Brock Built Homes. “We are thrilled to continue that tradition through our involvement in the Building Hope and a Future Dream Home Sweepstakes, which will raise money to improve the lives of a vulnerable population of our neighbors who are experiencing homelessness.”
