The educational and fun Butterfly Festival will return to the Dunwoody Nature Center this year from Saturday, August 15- Saturday, August 22 to provide families with a last chance to enjoy summer as school starts back up.
This local community favorite and annual tradition/fundraiser is moving forward with new modifications in place to allow for social distancing. While this event is usually a one-day festival, the Nature Center has transformed the event into a week-long occurrence that will feature a more intimate experience for guests, with limited capacity time-slots.
Parents and children alike will have a blast experiencing thousands of butterflies up close and personal and participating in fun activities around the park. Families can buy timed tickets online to visit the butterfly tent and will receive a QR code for fun-do-it-yourself activities related to butterflies, nature and science that can be completed in the park, along with a map of the Nature Center.
