The amazing glass sculptor, Dale Chihuly announced that “Chihuly in the Garden” will be returning to Atlanta Botanical Garden.
The exhibition will be open from now until October 30th.
If you’re not familiar with Dale Chihuly, his installations are breathtaking and his pieces are dubbed, Atlanta Botanical Garden mentions:
Internationally acclaimed artist, Dale Chihuly, returns to the Garden for an encore exhibition of his spectacular works of art, presented in a setting that has doubled in size since his blockbuster show here in 2004.
The kaleidoscopic colors of the art for which the artist has become so famous may also be experienced in a different light – at night when the Garden offers extended hours. Explore the exhibition during Chihuly Nights in the evenings from Wednesday – Sunday.
Midtown’s Atlanta Botanical Garden will be one of the biggest outdoor “Chihuly” show the artist has ever created. “Chihuly in the Garden” features 19 installations made from colorful glass.
The 2004 attraction increased visitation from 200,000 to 425,000 and memberships rose from 12,000 to 19,000 households the AJC reports.

The garden says they will be open 5 nights a week now with Chihuly’s installation. ABG also said, their record attendance of 523,000 set in 2013 could possibly be at risk. Bring a date and check it out!
