“This annual event honors our special cancer fighters and survivors,” said Wendi Verzosa, Founder of the ‘Princess and Pirate’ fundraiser and twelve year Team in Training veteran who has raised more than $50,000 for cancer research. “The theme of the evening provides an outlet for our young honored heroes to dress up and enjoy a fun night out, which helps them to forget about their illnesses and treatments,” said Mrs. Verzosa.
The evening is loaded with fun and will feature generous sponsors, including Atlanta Fever Entertainment, the College Football Hall of Fame, Tavola Italian Kitchen + Bar, Seasons 52, Post Exchange Catering, WZ Tavern, Mystical Parties Entertainment and many more. These local businesses are participating by donating their services or providing costumes, food and favors, some of which will be part of a raffle at the event.
