Phipps Plaza’s own Davio’s Atlanta will be showcasing a Gingerbread House workshop on Sunday, December 6th for children, and children at heart, in the area at their restaurant. Pastry Chef Kathleen McDaniel will lead the demonstration on the best way to build the confectionary homes so that they are perfect for the North Pole.
The houses can be simple and clean with just gingerbread, or decorated with candies galore, it’s all about what the child designer has in mind. The workshop is $40/child, and they will be provided their own gingerbread house to construct as well as snacks and drinks throughout the event. There will also be a dropoff for unwrapped toys for Toys for Tots for families that would like to donate.
