Have you seen what’s going on in Decatur? Innovation has been a priority and to go along with that, Comcast has opened it’s latest new look Xfinity retail store, with a little something for everyone.
The 4,450 square-foot facility, located at 1575 Church Street (Suite 230), is part of the recently completed North Decatur Square, a mixed-use community that sits on 18 acres. The retail center will offer hands-on access to Comcast’s Internet, Xfinity X1, Xfinity Mobile and digital voice, and Xfinity Home products.
The new location is designed to offer a simpler and more streamlined customer experience. It features multiple service counters staffed by Xfinity sales consultants, interactive iPad product demonstrations, and dedicated areas that showcase Comcast’s suite of products and apps. It also offers an automated payment kiosk to increase speed of service.
“This new facility is a great example of how Comcast is continuing to enhance the customer experience in Decatur and across the country,” said Doug Guthrie, Regional SVP at Comcast. “We are proud to offer a unique space for customers to explore our latest products and services.”
The store will be open for business Monday through Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m.
This is the new Xfinity retail presence is part of a broader national effort to positively transform how customers do business with Comcast. Nationally, Comcast has made significant improvements to enhance the customer experience, through employee trainings, new customer tools and the reduction of customer wait times. In total, Comcast is creating more than 5,500 customer service jobs in the U.S. to support this mission.
