Desiigner’s Billboard #1 hit “Panda” is one of the most popular songs in America right now. The beginning lines of the song start with, “I got broads in Atlanta” and recently Desiigner admits to NEVER coming to Atlanta.
“I’ve never been to Atlanta,” he admits during a interview with Billboard, the line stems from a girl he met on Facebook. “We never met in person,” he says. “She just said she was from ATL, so I was like, ‘All right — I got broads in Atlanta.’ It’s real life, you feel me? I put real-life shit in my songs.”
He’s only 19 years old, so as childish and petty as this lie sounds, we have to keep in mind he’s still a kid. As if you needed anymore signs that the kids is winning, he recently whipped a Rolls Royce to his high school prom.
He was recently scheduled to perform at Atlanta Greek Picnic’s step show, many social media users say he never showed. Is it because of the recent beef he’s experienced in Atlanta? Future’s artist, Lil Donald created a diss track directed at Desiigner called, “F**k Panda”. Take a listen.
