May 8 is recognized as FinTech Day for the state of Georgia!
Atlantans were treated to a great event and those in the Financial Tech industry were able to experience a great venue like Mercedes-Benz Stadium for two days during FinTech South 2018, May 7 and 8.
As a leader in transactions, a processing powerhouse, and a home of global FinTech giants and entrepreneurs…Atlanta is the global FinTech hub. In 2018, Georgia FinTech companies, community partners, and government officials are teaming up to launch an industry event called FinTech South 2018. This international event will launch Atlanta’s position as a FinTech hub prior to hosting P20 and participating at Money20/20 later in the year.
“70% of transactions are processed here in Georgia…You know, if you have 51% market share, you’re #1; if you have 70%, you dominate.” – Larry William, Technology Association of Georgia.
FinTech South 2018 featured a global exchange of insights, innovations and trends fueling tomorrow’s financial tech industry. Attracting international companies and speakers, FinTech South is an opportunity to engage with 400 FinTech companies employing more than 130K employees globally, generating $72B in revenues, and processing over 118B transactions annually.
