The second annual Food That Rocks, a Celebration of Sandy Springs is Saturday, May 6 at Hammond Park. 25 of Sandy Springs’ best restaurants, including the soon-to-open Kaiser’s Chophouse, a Kevin Rathbun production.
The second annual Food That Rocks, a Celebration of Sandy Springs on May 6, will be rockin’ 25 of Sandy Springs’ best restaurants, The Biffs live band and DJ Brettski, under two big tents at Hammond Park. Think food, music and fun.
A long list of great restaurants will be in attendance. Festival-goers can look forward to sampling bites from Battle and Brew, Buttermilk Sky Pie, Café Vendome, Caly Road Creamery, Chef Rob’s Caribbean Café, CT Cocina & Taqueria, Gus’s Fried Chicken, Hammock’s, Hearth Pizza, Hudson Grille, il Giallo, Kaiser’s Chophouse, Marlow’s Tavern, Nothing Bundt Cake, Pig-n-Chik, RIZE Artisan Pizza, Savor Bar & Kitchen, Soho Café & Bakery, Southern Bistro, Stockyard Burgers and Bones, Taqueria Tsunami, Taziki’s, Three Sheets, Tiff’s Treats and Under the Cork Tree.
“We are thrilled with our selection of fabulous restaurants for this year’s Food That Rocks,” says Dale DeSena, founder and CEO of Taste of Atlanta and Food That Rocks, “We even have Kevin Rathbun’s new concept Kaiser’s Chophouse on board before it is open, giving our VIP First-tasters an actual first taste.”
The popular 80’s rock band, The Biffs will play the decade’s best pop, rock and new wave tunes, sure to get your feet moving. Then DJ Brettski will bring it up to today’s mix of contemporary pop and rock, spinning the best sounds of the past ten years.
Food That Rocks will also feature wine, beer, cocktail tastes and benefit Sandy Springs-based charities Second Helpings, Ian’s Friends Foundation and the Georgia Ovarian Cancer Alliance (GOCA).
This is a partnership between the Sandy Springs Hospitality and Tourism, Sandy Springs Restaurant Council and Sandy Springs/Perimeter Chamber of Commerce, Food That Rocks is presented by Taste of Atlanta, the award-winning bites and bevs festival that showcases the diversity of Atlanta restaurants.
