27 year old, Michael Tanner Phillips was shot and killed today in Jonesboro, GA. Police report that he was gunned down at his Jonesboro home.
Phillips was recently married, according to family and friends. His wife is expecting their first child.

Clayton County Police Department’s Lt. Frank Thomas says Phillips’ wife was at the home with him when the shooting occurred, but she was not present in the same room while it happened. Thomas added, “Some of the neighbors heard some arguing and some gunshots. We are still interviewing some of them and trying to just piece together everything at this time.”
