Not being able to pay rent can force people into some pretty desperate measures and for one younger couple this amounted into a murder. Yesterday Kayla Dixon was sentenced to 40 years in jail after helping her boyfriend murder Danny Zeitz for his Playstation 4 back in September of 2014.
A 28y/o man was killed in Roswell after posting a Craiglist ad about a PS4 for sale. He was robbed & shot in San Springs during the meet-up.

Kayla and her boyfriend Nathaniel Vivian sold their own PS4 first and then plotted to rob someone for a new console through Craiglist. Kayla Dixon admitted to shooting Danny Zeitz in the chest.
“I would trade anything, almost anything to bring Daniel back. But I know I can’t,” Kayla said in court. “I know he had plans. I wish I could tell him, ‘I’m so, so sorry this happened,’ but I can’t.”
What makes the situation worse, before the robbery the couple were searching “how to rob someone” on YouTube and text back and forth about it prior to the robbery.
Kayla Dixon’s 16-month-old baby was sitting in the backseat of the car during the shooting.
Yesterday, after pleading guilty, Dixon apologized to Zeitz’s family, telling them she hopes “one day my apology will matter.” The mother of Danny Zeitz says he never planned on accepting the her apology but she really felt that the apology was, “very heartfelt”.
The killer’s boyfriend’s trial is expected to begin this summer. Dixon said she is willing to testify against Vivian.
