The Georgia Swarm continues to give back as they have proudly chosen Bert’s Big Adventure® as a beneficiary and partner for its 2017 season.
The metro Atlanta’s Professional Indoor Lacrosse team will not only provide a portion of ticket proceeds from the 2017 season but will also assist with a number of additional efforts throughout the year to aid in the funding of the nonprofit organization, which provides a magical, all-expenses-paid, five-day journey to Walt Disney World® for children with chronic and terminal illnesses and their families.
“We’re thrilled to be on board as a charity partner this year with Georgia Swarm,” says Bert’s Big Adventure Co-Founder and host of The Bert Show, Bert Weiss. “Their support allows Bert’s Big Adventure to fulfill our mission to take very deserving children and their families to Walt Disney World, which is truly an experience of a lifetime.”
“Partnering with Bert’s Big Adventure is a natural fit for our organization,” says Swarm Co-Owner and President, Andy Arlotta. “The Swarm takes great pride in giving back to our local community and the incredible work Bert’s Big Adventure does for children is truly life-changing and inspiring. We’re looking forward to a successful partnership in 2017 and for many years to come.”
In addition to the exciting partnership with Bert’s Big Adventure, Georgia Swarm is pleased to announce that Brian Moote, Co-host of The Bert Show, will join their team as the in-arena host for the 2017 season.
Fans can visit www.georgiaswarm.com/bert and use code BERT when purchasing tickets. A portion of the proceeds from ‘Worker Bee’ and ‘Colony’ tickets will be donated to Bert’s Big Adventure.
