For the 21st time, East Lake Golf Club is hosting the TOUR Championship. The September 1-5 tournament is the culminating event of the FedExCup Playoffs and its $15 million prize. Only the top 30 players on the points list qualify for the TOUR Championship.
Sure the golf is great, but here’s what else you can find on the historic grounds of East Lake.
Food and More
Take a stroll through the SO Cool Zone presented by Southern Company near the 15th and 14th greens, where shade sails, lounge furniture and misters will keep guests cool as they watch the telecast on the big screen. While there, fans can grab a bite from Universal Joint and Henri’s Bakery. After lunch, the PGA TOUR Fan Shop is there to handle all shopping needs!
Stay Cool
Everyone will be looking to stay cool during their time at the TOUR Championship, especially the kids. The MD Anderson shaded bleachers are located at three sites at East Lake – at the 1st tee, the 15th green and by the practice range.
Honoring Heroes
Military guests are especially welcome at the tournament, with complimentary tickets for all active, retired, reserved and National Guard military members, sponsored by United Rentals.
“It has been a long-time priority of the TOUR Championship to provide access and amenities for our military guests who join us during tournament week at East Lake Golf Club,” said Executive Director Allison Fillmore.

After seeing the animals, take the kids over to the First Tee® Game Changers Pavilion, where they can hit a paint-covered golf ball into the “Make an Impact” paint wall among other fun activities.
Local Eats and Drinks
East Lake Golf Club is conveniently located next to Decatur and Inman Park and that’s a great thing for food aficionados. LEON’s Full Service offers New American cuisine inside a former gas station. Parker’s on Ponce is an upscale steakhouse that offers sides such as decadent truffle mac and cheese. Enjoy a pick-me-up in quirky surroundings at My Coffee Shop at Eastlake.

Poké Bar offers a spin on a Hawaiian favorite, poke bowls, featuring a base of rice, noodles, or greens topped with fish, mix-ins, sauces and fresh toppings.
Giving back on the green
The TOUR Championship isn’t only meant to watch the world’s best golfers compete. It’s also a chance to give back. The TOUR Championship Charity Challenge, a nine-hole scramble played on the Wednesday before the championship, raises funds for the East Lake Foundation, Grove Park Foundation and Purpose Built Schools Atlanta. The organizations help improve health and wellness and promote equitable opportunities for economically disadvantaged residents of the area.
Get out and enjoy the golf and more at East Lake.
