You’re not dreaming, Gucci Mane is slated to be released from prison as early as March of 2016, according to 1017 Records.
Last month Gucci Mane tweeted that he will be released from prison, ‘sooner than later’. 1017 records made the announcement on Instagram by posting a picture of Gucci with a caption, “Guwop get out in march 2016”.
A few days ago, Gucci Mane’s Twitter and Instagram accounts were deleted. Sean Paine, an affiliate of Gucci Mane explained, “(Gucci) wants to wait until he gets out to build anticipation and resurface everything under the new Gucci brand.”

Despite being behind bars, Gucci Mane has managed to release albums and mixtapes at a torrid pace. His latest release was the Christmas-themed mixtape East Atlanta Santa 2. The project featured guest appearances by Post Malone, Riff Raff, Waka Flocka Flame, Lil B, OJ Da Juiceman, Sy Ari Da Kid, 21 Savage and Vic Mensa among others. Can’t stop the Wop’.
