Legendary quarterback for UGA, Fran Tarkenton said he would be surprise if the 5 star recruit Jacob Eason didn’t start. NFL quarterback who played for UGA, Matt Stafford has signaled the same message.
Hines Ward says the decision should be simple, Jacob Eason should start. Ward has made headlines throughout this offseason campaigning to be a coach at UGA and now things are starting to form in his favor. Today (Thursday) Hines Ward was invited by offensive coordinator Jim Chaney to Buford High School to speak to players.
“I say play him,” Ward said, according to Gridiron Now. “(That) is the best experience you can get. Just don’t overwhelm him and give him too much. By being on the field, you definitely learn a lot faster than being on the sidelines. You don’t really get that experience by being on the sidelines.”
