Intuit officially cut the ribbon on its new office space in Atlanta, home to Mailchimp! The new space encompasses everything from intentional design elements that embrace the new state of work to community integrations meant to support the city it calls home. Where the new office is concerned, Intuit has thought of it all.
The space was designed by Intuit Mailchimp’s own award-winning in-house creative agency, Wink, alongside design and architecture partners TVS and Studio O+A. Intuit Mailchimp has invested significantly in developing a space that feels warm, inviting, adaptable, innovative, and true to Mailchimp’s greater brand identity.
Mailchimp has been backed by Atlanta’s thriving business and tech ecosystem for over twenty years. Right off the BeltLine, Intuit’s latest state-of-the-art development amplifies this commitment and aims to bolster the vibrant and talented city of Atlanta. Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens was in attendance at today’s ribbon-cutting, alongside civic and community leaders from across the city.
Intuit Mailchimp’s inaugural Give Where You Live Day in Atlanta. This day of service, done in partnership with the Atlanta Hawks, was dedicated to creating programming that not only educates but also puts Mailchimp’s grantmaking powers to work, supporting some amazing work being done by local organizations. Employees from Mailchimp and the Hawks completed projects at local organizations before ending the night at the Hawks game.
After visiting, listening, and volunteering at local organizations like We Love Buford Highway, Trees Atlanta, and Moving in the Spirit, participants end the day at the Hawks vs. Clippers game on February 5. Just before tip-off, Mailchimp awarded the Latino Community Fund, We Love Buford Highway, and Russell Innovation Center for Entrepreneurs $10,000 each to empower their critical work locally. These grants are unrestricted, allowing them to use the funds to support their valuable community work in any way they choose.
While Intuit’s presence continues to grow in key markets around the globe, this new office highlights the rapid growth the organization has experienced in recent years, and the commitment to Atlanta’s wonderful business and tech community that Mailchimp has grown with over the years. The site becomes one of the top 5 largest campuses in the Intuit global real estate portfolio, showing the commitment to the city Mailchimp has called home for over two decades.
Identified as a top destination for skilled tech talent throughout the world, Intuit selected Atlanta as the place to double down on its commitment to the vibrant, and innovative ecosystem the city has built. With over 20 years of investment in the tech, education, and arts communities in Atlanta, Intuit Mailchimp is looking forward to a bright future with the city they call home. Since 2013, Mailchimp’s Corporate Citizenship program has also invested over $15M in 200+ local organizations and plans to continue giving back in meaningful ways.
