These Jets Flying Over Atlanta Had People Freaked Out

Social media went into a frenzy yesterday as two fighter jets flew above downtown Atlanta circling around nearly seven times.

People posted to Twitter and Instagram wondering what kind of secret mission these jets were on. Even the Atlanta Police Department had no clue what the jets were up to.

So should I be more afraid of the thunderstorm or these fighter jets circling downtown Atlanta?

But the mystery was solved, yesterday was Military Appreciation Day at SunTrust Park and these jets were apart of the pregame special. After yesterday’s national anthem the jets make an appearance and shoot across the park.

But this isn’t the first time something flying over Atlanta had people freaked out.
