Important to be safe on the roads this holiday season.
Jim Ellis Automotive Group in the Atlanta area launching an initiative to combat the rising trend of traffic fatalities due to distracted driving. This news is especially timely as we see an uptick of cars on the road and roadway fatalities as we approach the holiday season. According to the National Center for Statistics and Analysis, approximately nine people are killed and more than 1,000 people are injured daily in crashes involving distracted drivers. 1,561 lives were lost to roadway fatalities in Georgia last year.
To help combat these rising trends, the Jim Ellis Automotive Group is calling on residents across Georgia to take a driving pledge: “I pledge to keep my EYES on the road, my HANDS on the wheel and my MIND on the drive ahead.” For each person that takes this important pledge, the Jim Ellis Automotive Group will make a donation to the National Safety Council (NSC), a nonprofit organization with the mission of eliminating preventable deaths on the road through leadership, research, education, and advocacy.
Jim Ellis Automotive Group has been proudly serving the metro Atlanta area for more than 46 years. When we opened the doors of our first dealership back in 1971, our primary mission was to change the car buying experience. We adopted a simple selling philosophy – strive to treat every customer as if they were our own family member. With that goal in mind, we’ve been able to consistently create great car buying experiences that exceed our customers’ expectations. As a result, the Jim Ellis Automotive Group has earned the prestigious Consumers’ Choice Award for business excellence (voted on by consumers) for 13 consecutive years!
Happy holidays and be safe!
