Lift Up Atlanta is an awesome organization benefiting homeless and low income families. Lift Up Atlanta was originally started by Rosalind Garner in 2011 to help homeless women and children. Since then, it has grown to include various programs to help families all year long. This is possible through years of dedication, awesome volunteers, and bountiful donations. The programs at Lift Up Atlanta help families with basic needs such as clothing, household goods, school supplies, toys, and educational training such as career workshops and computer training. The best part is that all goods and services are free to all those in need.
On June 17, you could join in on the fun at Lift Up Atlanta’s 2017 Summer Fun Festival from 10AM – 6PM at the Gwinnett County Fairgrounds. This is a family fun event with something to do for everyone! Music at the event will be provided by DJ Skyrocker. Live entertainment includes a magic show, petting zoo, kids fun zone, vendor shopping, arts and crafts, carnival food, silent auction, and so much more.
It’s a full day filled with old fashioned fun all while benefitting communities that are so often forgotten. Lift Up Atlanta 2017 Summer Fun will help benefit needy kids by giving them school supplies. Admission is a cash donation or school supplies.
