Karma at it’s finest!
Yesterday Donald Trump hosted a rally in downtown Atlanta at the Georgia World Congress Center. If you missed the highlight of his speech this is what happened:
Yep, right in the middle of Trump’s speech the light’s went out. Trump tried to make a joke of it, saying:
They didn’t pay the electric bill.
Well, Donald, you’re a billionaire, so maybe you should have paid it for them.
According to an Associated Press reporter who was at the rally, here’s what actually happened:
‘A protester at a Donald Trump rally in Atlanta, Georgia cut the spotlights Sunday, prompting a surreal scene in which Trump led his supporters in a chant of ‘Turn off the lights!’
‘Lighting director Bob Hunter told The Associated Press that he stepped away from his booth near the front of the stage for a quick bathroom break.
‘He returned to a chaotic scene with shouts in his headset letting him know the lights were off. He said people in the area told him a protester had reached over and pulled a wire.’
The lights were restored, but then Trump complained they were too bright and ordered them turned off again.

A larger question is now being asked by the GOP hierarchy: If Trump wins the nomination, will their entire party wind up short-circuited for decades to come?
