The relationship between Netflix stars Francesca Farago and Damian Powers is unfolding on the show Perfect Match, with plenty of drama. Some fans are already aware that the two had a history before appearing on the dating show, but when did Farago realize that Powers might be part of the cast of Love Is Blind?
In an exclusive interview with Us Weekly, Farago revealed that she found out about Powers’ involvement after the first challenge. Although she couldn’t recall who went in first, she knew early on that he was part of the show.
At the time, Farago was spending time with Dom Gabriel from The Mole, which she admits affected her ability to pursue things further with him. However, she maintains a strong friendship with Gabriel and appreciates the time they spent together to figure out their romantic connection.

Before their appearance on Perfect Match, Francesca and Damian were spotted together during the summer of 2020. However, Damian was still in a complicated relationship with his Love Is Blind fiancée, Giannina Gibelli, as revealed in the show’s spinoff After the Altar, which aired in July 2021.
Giannina was uncomfortable with Damian bringing Francesca to a cast party, feeling outcasted and embarrassed for her. While their relationship was already in a bad place, Giannina didn’t expect to see Damian with another woman. Although they had been dating for two and a half years, Damian knew that Giannina wouldn’t let him off easily.
After the spinoff show, Damian and Giannina ended their relationship for good. Giannina has since been romantically linked to Blake Horstmann from Bachelor Nation since December 2021.
