Charity impact has reached nearly $2 million since 2013, and in 2017 Special Needs Schools of Gwinnett, one of the benefiting charities of the tournament, was named PGA TOUR Champions charity of the year.
Economic impact and exposure for the region is huge with local estimated economic impact exceeding $10 million for a standard PGA TOUR Champions event. It’s also great exposure for the region with more than 10 hours of live Mitsubishi Electric Classic television coverage, reaching over 400 million households each year, a national and international spotlight shines on Gwinnett County, along with metro Atlanta and the entire region during tournament week.
