Fresh off his moving speech at the BET Awards last month, media mogul Tyler Perry is getting back to work here in his adopted home of Atlanta (as if that was even in question). Perry recently announced his new streaming deal with the network and will be producing multiple series for the streaming service.
“The Oval,” which is one of those new series, is a show that tells the story of a family placed in the White House by people of power while also highlighting the personal side and everyday lives of the staff who run the inner workings of the nation’s most iconic residence.
Filming is set to begin later this month and a new casting call has been sent out in metro Atlanta for multiple roles. Producers are looking for:
- 18 + years old males and females of all ethnicities whom own a tux or a ballgown/cocktail dress, for an UPSCALE party at the White House.
- White House core staffers open ethnicities-5 males and 5 females only.
- White House butlers and maids. Clean cut, no visible tattoos, males and females of all ages and ethnicities
- Secret Service core- Fit, clean cut, clean shaven, no visible tattoos, ATHLETIC MALES, 20’s-40’s only, 5’11” or taller.
