Marvel Studios highly anticipated Black Panther is currently in pre-production, with filming set to begin in metro Atlanta at the top of 2017. So you can expect more casting calls to go out as the remaining weeks of 2016 pass.
Black Panther comes to Pinewood Studios fresh off the heels of Ant-Man, Captain America: Civil War, and the recently wrapped Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 and Spider-Man: Homecoming. Also, Avengers: Infinity War has begun production in Georgia as well, so it’s safe to call the Peach State the unofficial home of Marvel Studios.
New casting calls for the film have recently been sent out.
