Now that the initial shock of the Braves move has settled in for most people, it’s safe to look ahead to the future. The team and fans are currently celebrating their final season at Turner Field while Suntrust Park is well under construction. Along with a new park, the Braves promised a mixed-use development to surround it called “The Battery.” One of the highlights of The Battery is undoubtedly the new Omni Hotel at The Battery Atlanta.
The new Omni Hotel, which was announced in April of 2015, will be adjacent to the new stadium’s outfield. The hotel will feature top-floor suites with terraces that overlook the ballpark, 12,500 square feet of meeting space, a signature restaurant, an elevated pool deck and bar overlooking the plaza and ballpark.
The 264 room, 16-story hotel is scheduled to be open in the Fall of 2017. It is located at the northwest intersection of I-75 and I-285 at Cobb Parkway. Do you plan on staying here this fall? Check below for more pictures!
