Waffle House is planning a new location in downtown Atlanta’s Centennial Olympic Park.
Legacy Property Group (LPG) of Atlanta filed a permit for the almost 2,400-square-foot-restaurant earlier this month, on April 5th.
The new Waffle House would be located at 300 Marietta Street, bringing the old school diner to a row of other LPG eateries including Twin Smokers BBQ, Der Biergarten, Stats and Max’s Coal Oven Pizzeria. If Waffle House is permitted to open, they would take the vacant spot directly under Der Biergarten, but LGP CEO, David Marvin, could not confirm or share more details.
If it goes through, I certainly look forward to getting beers at Der Biergarten and an All-Star special after Hawks and Falcons games soon!
