It’s setting up to be a great season for Georgia football, with Jacob Eason coming into full swing, Kirby Smart giving UGA a new look and Nick Chubb getting better everyday, Georgia fans are surely excited for the upcoming season.
In a video seen below, Chubb says his return is going to “be something to see … “I’m gonna be back for the opening game.”

Nick Chubb missed most of last season after s serious leg injury he suffered against Tennessee. Many writers said they would be surprised if Chubb was ready for the season opener.
“The orthopedic people that I’ve talked to say from the date you injure the way he injured that knee, it’s a calendar year,” Barnhart said on 1010XL in Jacksonville. “So if he comes back before the end of September, I’m going to be surprised. But if he comes back anywhere close to what he was before, Georgia’s going to develop the quarterback and they’re going to have a pretty good football team.”
If Chubb does return for the season opener, it would obviously be a huge win for the Bulldogs, who could be breaking in a new quarterback if freshman Jacob Eason ends up winning the starting job.
