Variety Entertainment announces the return of the Pepsi Funk Fest to Miramar Regional Park on Friday, December 9 and Saturday, December 10. Funk Fest is one of the country’s largest traveling music festivals, entertaining close to 110,000 people annually with amazing talent line-ups that feature some of the top platinum selling artists in R&B, Hip Hop and Soul music from the past two decades.

Fans can expect the same high-energy performances, delicious eats and great atmosphere as last year, with some new additions, which include more access to parking with complimentary shuttle service to the venue, expanded entry lanes to accommodate more guests simultaneously, easy mobile ticketing, and the opportunity to win amazing prizes, including a brand new car, which will be given away by Funk Fest partner Sam’s Club True Car.
Funk Fest Miami 2016 is sponsored by Pepsi, AT&T, and Sam’s Club and True Car, and will feature: TLC, Jodeci, Guy featuring Teddy Riley, Trick Daddy, Dru Hill, SWV, Mystikal and H Town, and will be hosted by Uncle Luke.
“We started 2016 in Miami, and we are excited to return to the area for our last concert of the 2016 season with a memorable show for our fans,” said Leo Bennett, CEO of Variety Entertainment. “We are confident that the additions we’ve made in will provide attendees with a great experience.”
Funk Fest will also demonstrate its commitment to the local community by recognizing community leaders as part of the Funk Fest Community Champions program and awarding $5,000 in college scholarships to deserving students through a partnership with Pepsi and the non-profit organization, Lifting As We Climb.
