Pancake lovers rejoice! Tomorrow, March 7 is National Pancake Day! As you could probably guess, IHOP will be celebrating in the only way they know how.
From 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., 10 p.m. at some locations, guests can receive one free short stack of IHOP’s famous buttermilk pancakes.
While this seems like the opportunity to solely take advantage of free pancakes, it is also an opportunity to be charitable. IHOP has partnered with three inspiring charities – Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, and Shriners Hospitals for Children – with the goal of raising $3.5 million for finding cures and eradicating life-threatening diseases affecting children and families everywhere.
“Every pancake served on IHOP National Pancake Day has a purpose, and every penny raised goes a long way in making a meaningful, and lasting, impact on so many kids and families in our communities,” said IHOP president Darren Rebelez.
From my experience, it’s best to go early but if you can’t, call your local IHOP to make sure they still have pancakes for you.
