November 11, is Veteran’s Day, so in keeping with its patriotic NASCAR weekend theme, Atlanta Motor Speedway introduces the all-new Seats for Soldiers and Patriot Pack programs, which offer free seats to the March 5, 2017 Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500 NASCAR Cup Series race to members of the U.S. military. The Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500 is March 5, 2017, so start planning now.
Race fans who would like to show their appreciation to our armed forces and the sacrifices they make can purchase a $25 Seats for Soldiers ticket in the Lower Champions Grandstands, which will be donated to the USO, who will then distribute them to members of the U.S. military free of charge.
Similarly, businesses who would like to send 20 soldiers to the race for free can do so with the purchase of a Patriot Pack, a $500 package that includes a rally towel with a list of participating companies for each race attendee. Businesses that purchase a Patriot Pack will be given a commemorative plaque to be displayed at their place of business to signify their support of our armed forces.
There is no limit to the number of Patriot Pack tickets businesses can purchase, and each ticket over 20 is just $25.
Folds of Honor, one of the sponsors of Atlanta’s top-tier NASCAR race, is a 501(c)(3) foundation established by U.S. Air Force fighter pilot Major Dan Rooney in 2007 and is dedicated to providing educational opportunities and scholarships to the families of men and women killed or disabled while serving our nation. The folded flag in its logo is a symbol that reflects the mission of the foundation.
