Atlanta, GA (July 16) – To celebrate the second birthday of SkyView Atlanta, a giant party is being held at Atlanta’s Ferris wheel in Centennial Olympic Park. Today, July 16th, SkyView Atlanta will be giving away free food, drinks, rides on the wheel, and prizes all day long. There will also be live entertainment for families during the day and adults in the evening.
Because SkyView’s birthday is today 7/16, all the free stuff carries a 716 theme. So, throughout the day there will be $716 in cash hidden in SkyView’s air conditioned gondolas. We will also be giving away $716 worth of SkyView tickets. And anyone with who shares the 7/16 birthday with SkyView gets to ride the wheel for free all day long!
Between noon and 3pm SkyView will host a magic show that will include live animals in the act, face painting, and a balloon artist. Plus they will be giving away 716 hotdogs & 716 cans of Coca-Cola.
At night, between 7pm and 10pm, SkyView will host belly dancers, stilt walkers, and a fire show. They will also be giving away 716 Chick-Fil-A chicken sandwiches during the evening.
SkyView Atlanta is located at 168 Luckie St. in Downtown Atlanta adjacent to Centennial Olympic Park and the Tabernacle building. It will be open from 10 am – midnight on Thursday, July 16th. SkyView Atlanta is a 200-foot tall Ferris wheel with 42 climate-controlled gondolas. Tickets to ride SkyView Atlanta are $13.50 for adults and $8.50 for children under 12.
