Substitute teachers can always be a hit or miss depending on the situation. You just never know how they might teach or if they’ll even teach at all…or if they’ll just sit in the back of the classroom and watch porn.
Recently, a substitute teacher in Dalton, GA was fired due to allegations that he was playing porn on his laptop.
Some students of Dalton Middle School reported hearing pornographic sounds coming from the sub’s computer. It sounds bad and extremely awkward for everyone involved. It’s hard to imagine what could’ve been going through the substitute teacher’s head when the noises started going.
Principal Phil Jones informed the Atlanta Journal Constitution that an assistant principal was made aware of the situation through some students recounting their events.
Some students were interviewed and they said that nothing was seen, only heard.
It’s a situation that probably seemed like a joke at first but once the interviews started, it was clear that more than one or two students were shocked to hear the awkward noises.
Principal Jones revealed that what started as an interview process for only three children easily turned into a whopping 13.
So how could the teacher have been so careless? Well, it turns out that modern technology may have caught the teacher slipping. The substitute teacher actually wasn’t sitting at his desk watching porn when the incident occurred. According to the students, he was standing at the front of the classroom when the strange sounds came from his computer.
The teacher was quick to go turn off the sounds but the damage was already done.
While the substitute won’t be asked back to Dalton Middle School, it’s important to note that nobody actually saw any porn on the teacher’s laptop. The lack of concrete evidence of what the noises were really coming from is also the key reason why police weren’t involved in the matter.
It’s definitely an odd story, and stuff like this doesn’t tend to happen very often or at all for that matter. For an odd situation like this, it seems to have ended in the best possible scenario.
