The Georgia Swarm is taking a move out of the Atlanta Hawks’ playbook and hosting their own version of “Swipe Right Night”.
The dating application, Bumble, has partnered with Georgia’s professional lacrosse team to hold ‘Bumble Night at The Hive” on April 15th. The swipe-magic will be at Harrah’s Cherokee Casino Field at Infinite Energy Arena in Duluth, GA. The partnership is intended to drive a younger millennial crowd to cheer on Georgia’s first professional lacrosse team, according to Swarm Co-Owner and President, Andy Arlotta.
Arlotta stated that the partnership with Bumble is a “no-brainer” as the two share such similar branding and that “[the] plan is to make this an annual event moving forward”.
The Swarm will be hosting the New England Black Wolves for a 7:35pm match and all Bumble users will be invited to the Georgia Natural Gas Club Lounge at halftime to mingle with their in-game matches. See you there!
