If you’re looking to witness first hand, the big names of comedy then visit Atlanta’s oldest comedy club. With having hosted over 3,000 comedians such as Tim Allen, Jerry Seinfeld, Larry The Cable Guy, Ron white, Jay Leno and many more, Punchline is an excellent place to loosen up with family or friends, celebrate most events, or even take someone out on a first date. Punchline will close it’s current location on Hillenbrand and will soon move to a new location sometime in April.

Experience the most talked about full-time stand up comedy club Atlanta has to offer. Hidden in the back of The Vortex Bar & Grill is the worlds smallest comedy club with a 74-seat setting, but don’t let the size fool you as a result of stand up comedy being best savored in an intimate environment. 3. The Hangar
This alternative comedy club was originally an old jet hangar that has been remade into a venue. There isn’t much to it, but rarely has anyone ever left with a frown. The Hangar is great for parties, improv, theatre, and stand-up from Atlanta’s local comedians! Located off the Beltline in the Old Fourth Ward.

2. Uptown Comedy Corner
Uptown Comedy Corner is the busiest and most entertaining venue for live comedy, as well as being one of the top urban comedy clubs in the Nation. The club has hosted comics such as Chris Tucker, Mike Epps, Steve Harvey, Chris Rock, and Dave Chappelle in the 22 years it’s been open. It is also Atlanta’s longest-running African-American comedy club.

1. Atlanta Improv Comedy Club & Dinner Theatre
Started in 1963, this improvisation Comedy Club was originally founded in New York by a Broadway producer which later led to improv clubs being opened around the nation. This club was also 2014’s winner of the best comedy club in Atlanta. With delicious foods and drinks at an inexpensive cost, the Improv Comedy Club is a great place to grab a bite eat and seeing as the comedians performance doesn’t blow your drink out through your nose due to your laughter.
