Recently born Sumatran cubs – the first born at the zoo in a decade — are now on the prowl. Sohni and Sanjiv are exploring their exhibit with their mother Chelsea. Previously only visible via webcam, the 8-week-old cubs are investigating their outdoor habitat, which features three different viewing opportunities for visitors in the new Complex Carnivores and adjacent Trader’s Alley. Guests may be treated to sightings as the siblings, Sanjiv (meaning “love” and “long life” in Indian) and Sohni (meaning “beautiful”) enjoy their first adventures on public view. Take your family to visit them in person. You can purchase tickets here.
