Kudos as Walmart is proud to announce it is the sole sponsor of the Juneteenth Day of Service Event to benefit Project H.E.L.P. ATL at Gateway Center on Saturday, June 17th, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. In addition to $25,000 in total sponsorship, Walmart will provide more than 60 volunteers and in-kind donations and grants, including items from US Foods.
Walmart’s volunteers will serve men, women and children currently experiencing homelessness.

ATL’s Juneteenth Celebration,” said Latonya McMorris, Walmart Market Manager. “By increasing access to resources and services, improving the quality of life for attendees and raising awareness about homelessness, Project H.E.L.P. ATL is doing vital work throughout the city of Atlanta.”
Project H.E.L.P.’s ATL’s annual Juneteenth Celebration is a community-centered event engaging stakeholders to serve individuals experiencing homelessness in Atlanta.

The mission of Project H.E.L.P. ATL is to create opportunities of service for corporations and community members to improve the lives of those experiencing homelessness by providing resources, connections and partnerships.
