A Drive around campus, 1992. Video starts at the former Davis Apartments, now a parking lot, past the Baptist Center towards the former Johnson Hall dorms. When I attended GSU, the Student Union was a parking lot. Within 4 years, new to the University: Student Union, fraternity row, Book store, and the Lake Cafe. “Spike” the Goose, that most just called a crazy attack duck, was well known by all who attended there for years. This video was filmed using a vary old VHS recorder: a hand held video camera that attached to a 30 lb box/batt recorder. The color function way off into the green wavelength. In the early 90’s most did not own a video recorder; they were too expensive and large to carry. This was filmed during Christmas break 1992 and GSU at the time was a suitcase college on the quarter system; everyone left during the break.
